TRC is thrilled to announce that we are acquiring a second therapeutic riding location!
We will be merging with Dream Catcher of Los Angeles, located in Long Beach, CA. The founder of Dream Catcher, Joan Blank, contacted TRCHB about turning our programs into one non-profit months ago, and since then, our board members and staff have been hard at work to make this acquisition possible! We are very excited at the opportunity this union provides for TRC to serve both Orange and Los Angeles counties through our two locations.
In order to make this merger as smooth and organized as possible, Dream Catcher, which will now be known as TRCLA, will be closed for the month of January. This will help ensure that all operations and logistics are transitioned seamlessly. We understand that this affects current Dream Catcher students and volunteers, and we thank you for your patience and understanding while we restructure. All current Dream Catcher volunteers and students will be receiving an email to submit new applications under the new TRCLA name. We appreciate your timely attention to this important document, as this will help our transition greatly. We will be in touch regarding class schedules at the new location once we have everything organized.
Once this important work has been completed at TRCLA, we will be a fully operational therapeutic riding program and look forward to serving the greater LA community. To celebrate this acquisition, we will be hosting an open house, so be sure to look for an email announcing this event; we would love for you to join us as we celebrate this exciting step in TRC’s future.
Thank you for all your continued support! We couldn’t do it without you!
