Sylvia Trujillo
Volunteer + Equine Care Team
I grew up in West Texas and earned a Business Administration degree from UTEP before starting a career in public accounting. After moving to California in 1983, I became a CPA and later transitioned to private industry as a Controller then CFO. My son lives in San Francisco, and my daughter and her husband are in San Diego. I retired in 2022 after 20 years as CFO of the Jewelry Exchange. Looking for a new purpose, I joined TRCHB and have loved working with the horses, students, instructors, board, and volunteers. The program is impressive, and everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive.
My horse experience has been limited to some recreational riding with friends and family over the years. I hope to ride more and become more involved in our horses’ care going forward.
My other interests include travel, yoga, gardening, hiking and dogs.
