Captain + Volunteer

JoAnn has been volunteering with TRC since January 2023, and is currently a Captain and fills in for the equine care team.

She grew up in Southern California, and started riding horses at 5 years old, when she decided it would be really fun to jump, and rode regularly until high school.

JoAnn also grew up helping out with various Special Olympics activities, so when she found TRC, she knew it would be the perfect place for her!  When not volunteering at TRC and riding, JoAnn works in Talent Acquisition for a healthcare organization, travels around the world (6 continents so far), and enjoying living in Huntington Beach.
