Kathleen Petullo

I was born and raised in Northern California.  I fell in love with horses at an age early when my mom and dad would take me horseback riding in Santa Clara County.  One day my mom saw me cantering to a 2-footjump and took off with her horse to head me off.  I have always wondered what would have happened if she didn’t stop me and what the outcome could have been on that jump.

I worked for a couple different employers and then was able to get a job with McDonnell Douglas who merged with The Boeing Company.  I had 23 successful years working my way up the ladder in Supplier Management and finally retiring as a Level 5 Procurement Agent.

Boeing offered opportunities to volunteer and give through the Employee Community Fund (ECF). Through ECF I was able to provide a Grant to TRC and found out about volunteering.  Then a couple more years passes by, but my fondness for TRC and horses never faded.

I started taking lessons first in English then transitioned too Western.  I had the bug and wasn’t letting it go.  Now that I have retired, I started taking golf lessons.  

I love golf and finding creative ways to raise money on and off the golf course for this awesome organization.  I look forward raising the bar with every fundraising event.

My husband, Frank, and I have been married almost 33 years and we have 2 daughters, Shawn and Megan.
