Darrin Spurgeon

Darrin joined the board in 2020, but has been involved with the program since 2015 as his son participates in the riding program.  Darrin brings 30 years of corporate finance and client relations experience to the board.

Darrin and his family moved to Huntington Beach in 2013 from Arizona.  He is from a military family and thus has lived in many places, but was born in southern California.  So his latest move was a sort of a homecoming.

The family’s incredible experience with TRCHB made Darrin want to join the board and help continue its mission to bring adaptive riding and joy to more families.  In his spare time he likes woodworking, playing the guitar, and doing any number of other DIY projects.
