Nicole Offason Smith
Nicole, a native of Sweden, grew up around horses, and after graduating from Bollerup upper secondary school in Sweden - where she gained advanced experience in dressage and in carriage driving - she went across the oceans to work as a horse trainer and international competition groom at carriage driving barns in Valencia, Madrid and Orange Park Acres. When she was working in Orange Park Acres she met her Husband , and fortunately decided to stay in Orange County.
She has been volunteering with TRCHB since January 2016, and began teaching in April 2018. Nicole holds a dual certification with PATH as a Certified Therapeutic Riding instructor (CTRI) and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL).
"TRCHB brought a new meaning and a new purpose in my life. Helping children and adults with disabilities through therapeutic riding allowed me to connect my occupation with my life-long passion for horses."
Nicole graduated from CSULB in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy, and works full time as a RTC at College Medical Center in Long Beach.
