I grew up in Arizona and California. As a young girl I lived on a farm with chickens, pigs, cats, dogs and horses. That is when my love for horses first began as a little girl. I moved to California after middle school and started high school here in Orange County. Being outdoors at the beach and active has always been a part of my life.
I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado in Sociology and Psychology. I went on to earn my MBA in Marketing and Business. Over the span of my career, I’ve remained active within the Huntington Beach community and within the non-profit sector with local marketing and community relations. I came to TRC in 2020 to form a community partnership and help feed and reward TRC’s volunteers. After meeting Donna, other volunteers and the students, I was instantly connected. I began volunteering the very next day and I continue to enjoy every minute with the students and horses.
I encourage anyone who wants to be a part of a program working with horses and helping others to join us in helping our students build their skills on a personal and physical level.
