Bharat Ananth

Board Member, Fundraising Committee Member

Bharat joined the TRCHB board in January 2023.  Bharat is a technology and supply chain leader and he has been working in various technology, digital and supply chain leadership roles at Life sciences, food and nutritional supplements and semiconductor companies for over 25 years.  Even though Bharat is new to TRCHB, he is not new to nonprofit world, he has been volunteering and serving in the board leadership roles at a number of nonprofit organizations such as Chinmaya Mission of Los Angeles, Big Brothers Big Sisters, American Cancer Society to name a few. Bharat has been mentoring and coaching less privileged youths in Orange and LA counties helping them realize their potential to succeed in their field of interests.  Bharat has an undergrad and masters in computer science and engineering from National Institute of Technology, India and he recently completed his MBA from MIT Sloan school of management specializing in healthcare, finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship.  His professional career included working in 10 countries in Americas, Europe and Asia. Supporting and helping people with mental and developmental challenges has always been a top priority for Bharat, he was introduced to the impact Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies in treating certain types of mental and physical disabilities when he was doing a nonprofit project as part of his MBA at MIT, that brought him to TRCHB to continue his service in the local community.

Through his service at TRCHB, Bharat wants to increase the awareness of EAAT to help people with physical, mental and development challenges and help the organization with fundraising and other activities to offer their services and programs to support the people in need in the community.

While not working for his company, Bharat tries to serve his community through various nonprofit organizations. He loves to spend time outdoors with his family. He is an avid runner with a number of marathons and half marathons under his belt and he is also a frequent hiker completing a number of challenging hikes around the country.
